My philosophy of practice is to approach every client with curiosity and empathy, and involve the client throughout the entire therapeutic process. I want to create a safe, welcoming and open space for my clients and their families while spending a good amount of time in the rapport building phase. I plan to apply my previous knowledge from volunteering experiences, classroom education and clinical knowledge in all aspects of my career and continue to enhance my knowledge by attending conferences, webinars and workshops. I plan to communicate collaboratively with my future coworkers and be open to both sharing ideas and receiving feedback (positive and constructive) in order to work effectively as a valuable member of an inter-professional team.
